Frequently asked

Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone, in BabyMama's private storage. There is no central server holding your journal, photos or voice notes.

How do I move my data to a new phone?

On your old phone: Profile → Backup → Export full backup. Save the file to iCloud Drive or AirDrop it across.
On the new phone: install BabyMama, on the welcome screen tap Restore from backup, pick the file. Everything comes back.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstall the app. Because nothing is stored off-device, that's it. If you've shared a backup file somewhere (iCloud, email), delete that too.

The reflections in my journal feel generic.

BabyMama's gentle reflections use Apple Intelligence running on your iPhone. On devices that support it (iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max, iPhone 16 line and newer), you get personalised responses. On older iPhones the app uses built-in responses — the experience still works, just without the on-device AI.

Apple Health says zero for everything.

Open the Health app → Sharing → Apps & Services → BabyMama, and turn on Steps, Sleep and Heart Rate. iOS sometimes doesn't grant categories until you do this manually.

Can I share my journal with my partner or doctor?

Yes — Profile → Journal → Export Journal as PDF. You decide who sees it.
